Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this programme for?
Lawyers who have recently made Partner and want to feel as capable and confident inside as they appear outside.
Lawyers who made Partner some years ago but are still experiencing imposter syndrome or finding it difficult to step into the identity of Law Firm Partner.
Â
What if I made Partner a few years ago? Is this still for me?
Yes. This programme is equally valuable if you became Partner some time ago but still find yourself struggling to feel or act like one.
- You might notice patterns such as:
Avoiding high-visibility challenges or client pitches. - Holding back from delegating or trusting your team.
- Continuing to work as if you still need to prove yourself.
- Still doing the work of an Associate.
These are common signs that the internal identity shift to Partner hasn’t yet caught up with the external title. The programme helps you update the mindset and behaviours that keep you stuck in old roles so you can fully inhabit your position with confidence and authority.

How do I book my sessions?
You will be sent an email with my diary links so you can view my inperson and Zoom availability and book your sessions. You may also email my PA, Gemma ([email protected]) to book in your sessions.
Do you do evening sessions?
Yes. Evening sessions can be booked on Mondays and Thursdays. They are theÂ
most popular sessions so you may need to wait to start if you can only do evenings. You will have access to my diary and be able to see when the next evening sessions are available.
What days do you work?
I run a full-time practice Monday to Friday offering in-person and Zoom sessions. The in-person sessions are currently on Mondays and Thursdays. Evening sessions are also available Mondays and Thursdays. The morning sessions start at 9am. These can be booked using the online diary links. There is some flexibility in my diary and you can make some changes by liaising with my PA. For example, occasionally 8.30am sessions can be booked.
Â
What’s included?
Five 1-hour coaching sessions, held weekly or fortnightly, online or in person. You’ll also receive access to copyrighted materials and optional assessments.
Can I spread the sessions over more than five weeks?
Yes. Sessions can be spaced to fit your workload. However, it is strongly advised to have the first 2 sessions within a month. The key is consistent progress rather than pace. You will be sent a link to my diary so you can book the sessions at a time that works for you.
What if I’m not sure this is the right time?
Many lawyers begin when they feel uncertain or stuck. The programme is designed precisely for that to bring clarity and momentum when confidence dips. However, you will need to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours to this programme.
Is everything confidential?
Absolutely. All sessions are confidential and held in accordance with professional ethical standards (HCPC, BABCP, BPS)
Can my firm pay for the sessions?
Yes. My team can arrange invoicing directly with your firm. You can down the Becoming a Partner brochure (insert link) and send it to the person responsible forÂ
you to do this programme.
What happens after the 5 sessions?
Some clients choose to continue with ongoing coaching. Insert link to general coaching We’ll review your progress and goals in the final session and decide what’s most supportive for you.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
If you give a least 5 working days notice, that is not a problem, please see my cancellation policy here.
